Responsible for:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Retail Ops Assistant to provide day to day support to the Operations department at Soho House & Co. You will be supporting in the management of warehouse operations by maintaining close relationships with internal departments and working closely with our third party warehouse. You will also be assisting with photoshoots, pop-ups and ad hoc visits to Soho House sites to support with deliveries or organisation for launches/ parties to maintain an effective service across the business.

Main Duties

  • Arrange and oversee deliveries of Soho Home and Cowshed products to our Soho House & Co. sites, VIP customers, wholesale customers and to photoshoot locations, ensuring orders dispatch on schedule
  • Support in organising documentation for freight transit and customs clearance by liaising with our suppliers, internal departments and third party shipping partners
  • Attending and supporting deliveries to photoshoots and new site launches
  • Offer financial support to the operations team; cataloguing invoices received against quotes supplied and ensuring all costs have sufficient backup
  • Investigate order shortage/damage/dispatch queries with the warehouse and communicate findings to relevant teams
  • Assist internal departments with re-work requests, obtaining quotes from the warehouse and tracking progress to ensure timelines are adhered to
  • Work with the warehouse to ensure packaging requirements and wholesale customer Standard Operating Procedures / guidelines are updated and communicated and adhered to

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in operations/ business environment
  • An eye for detail is essential and experience of invoice processing a bonus
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills and excellent at relationship building
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and outlook
  • An interest in UK & International Logistics, including customs procedures
